Many companies struggle with the same problem. Key performance indicators are defined differently everywhere. There are no guidelines, and even less comparability. This is where the “Commerce Reporting Standard” (CRS) initiative comes in. In collaboration with our co-initiators from Project A, we have developed a clearly defined system of trading metrics and KPIs. Every commercial enterprise should be able to freely access this standard and benefit from the shared knowledge – regardless of which specific technologies it uses.

Our vision: By bundling best practices into a comprehensive model, we aim to provide retailers with a shortcut to a data-driven decision-making culture – while simultaneously enabling easier industry benchmarking. Our data model also uses transaction ratios as shown in the CRS transaction ratio matrix. The advantages of a uniform data model are obvious:
